Automatic Copper Coil Packing Line

SUMMARY OF THE LINE:

This packing line is mainly composed of coil picking&tilting system, coil weighing system, coil strapping machine, coil wrapping machine, coil stacking system, conveyor storage stations&etc.This line is controlled by a general control table, and each unit can be controlled separately by manual.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF MAIN PARTS 

1. Coil picking and tilting system

ØThe system is specially designed for connecting with the turnstile.

ØIt’s composed with the tilter, flexible picking arm, precise moving track &etc.

ØAutomatic separating the coil on turnstile.

ØSmooth surface treatment for the picking arm.

ØLifting nose with hydraulic driving.

ØConveying speed: 10-30 m/min, adjustable by converter.

ØThe coil picking arm is flexible for back&forth movement and up&down lift, encoder control.

2. Net weighing system

ØThe system is used for net weighing of the steel coil;

Ø Weight precision: 1/3000;

Ø Adopt Mettler Toledo weighing sensor;

Ø Equipped with weight indicator, with RS232 interface;

Ø The calibration of the scale is completed by both the buyer and the seller,the buyer offers standard weights.

3. PP Strapping machine

Ø Automatic coil strapping machine is for coil eye through strapping by PP tape.

ØThe lifting-up structure enable the steel coils to rotate for multiple strapping.

ØIt is safe and steady and won’t damage the coil.

ØThe supportive rollers and conveyor rollers are covered by polyurethane.

ØThe belt track is up-down threading type,closing for strapping and opening for coil inlet&outlet conveying.

ØThe strapping is by crossing through the center of the coil.

ØThe tension of the PP belt can be adjusted.

4. Auto coil wrapping machine

1. 1) PLC control and HMI operation.

2. 2) Indicator alarms automatically when trouble occurs.

3. 3) Supportive rollers lifting the coil from conveyor for wrapping.

4. 4) The overlap rate of wrapping tape is adjustable from 20%-90% by converters.

5. 5) Wrapping tape tension can be adjusted.

6. 6) Ring speed and roller speed adjustable by converters.

7. 7) Mechanical hand feeds the packing tape automatically.

8. 8) Supporting rollers are covered by polyurethane.

9. 9) Soft stop and soft start.

10. 10) Friction between ring and wheel is adjustable.

5. Stacking system

1. It is stacking equipment to handling packed coil from conveyor to pallet one by one.

3. It’s a specialized stacking system, can stack the coil one by one.

4. Equipment with lifting platform.

5. There is need timber block between the coils.

6. Accurate position for coil stacking.

6. Coil center positioning device

It is for positioning the coil which makes coil on the center of the conveyor, which is the necessary process to continue strapping and wrapping.

The structure for this system is push-out, and it can center the coil transversely.

It is safe and steady and wont damage the coil.

7. Conveyor stacking stations

It is conveyor storage station for storage and off loading of stacked pallets.
