AUTOMATIC HORIZONTAL COIL WRAPPING LINE

APPLICATION:

The automatic horizontal coil packing line is specially designed by Shanghai Jinglin to meet the highly automation requirements for packing slit steel coils/copper coils/aluminium coils&etc, the functions include coil separating, tilting, packing, strapping, stacking&etc. It use rolled compound paper as the main packing material, makes the object well packed and stacked, convenient for storage and transportation.

The packing system mainly include turnstile, coil upender, roller conveyor, strapping machine, automatic wrapping machine,weighting conveyor, automatic stacking machine,etc.

This line is controlled by one general control table, and each unit can be controlled independently by manual.

WORK PROCESS:

1. The steel coils are stored on the turnstile. At most 4 jumbo coils can be stored at one time.

2. The coil picking system picks the steel coils from the turnstile one by one and tilt for 90 degree.

3. The coil be transferred to the strapping station to be strapped by PP tape.

4. Automatic coil centering.

5. The coil be conveyed to the packing station for automatic packing.

6. Stacking the coils after centering. The lifting table will adjust the stacking height automatically.

7. Product will be conveyed to the storing station and stored temporarily.

8. Move away the stacked objects by forklift, thus a working process is finished.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION：

Ⅰ. TURNSTILE

1. The turnstile is in the front part, and connected with the machinery.

2. Precise positioning.

3. Hollow structure in arm for coil tacking.

4. The turnstile automatic positioning precisely.

5. Cross structure.

Ⅱ. UPENDER

1. The device separate the coils from the cross arm one by one and turn the coil over for 90 degree. The device has the transport function.

2. Connected with the turnstile directly, easy application and effective.

3. Inner through type, coil lifting device is integrated with the turnstile.

4. Separating out the coils with different width precisely form turnstile.

5. The coils are in a relatively resting state, which preventing the surface of coils from being damaged.

6. This device can be used separately or equipped with the wrapping machine.

III. AUTOMATIC WRAPPING MACHINE

1. PLC control and HMI automatic operation.

2. Manual/auto mode for choose.

3. Frequency control of motor speed, overlap rate could be adjusted according to the requirements

4. Simple operation by inputting object OD, ID, width and corrected parameter, the PLC system will calculate corresponding packaging parameters.

5. Automatic positioning, automatic cutting.

6. Indicator alarms automatically when trouble occurs. Trouble can be shown automatically.

7. Packing tape be feed and clamped by mechanical hand

8. Novelty design, material tension could be adjusted automatically.

9. The surface of the conveyor rollers are wrapped by polyurethane

10. Separate electrical cabinet adopted, which makes operation & maintenance easier.

1. One stacking system with 4 stations for different size of coil.
