AUTOMATIC PIPE PACKING MACHINE

I. SUMMARY：

1) This automatic plastic pipe packing line is an fully automatic solution specially designed for modern plastic pipe manufacturers to meet the high automation needs of pipe packing.

2) The machinery mainly include pipe counting and bundling system, pipe bundle stretch wrapping system, pipe bundle bagging system and offloading into basket system, etc. It can count, collect, bundle, strap, bag and offload into basket in-line automatically for specific pipe specifications.

3) This equipment is controlled by the general control table, and every part can be separately controlled.

4) The speed of this equipment should match up with the speed of pipe extrusion line.

II. TECHNIQUE PROCESS DESCRIPTION:

*The pipes are dropped from the end of extrusion machine to pipe counting and bundling system one by one. The functions of pipe counting, collecting and initial aligning will be completed.

*After counting, one or several pipes will go into pipe bundling system. 

*Ends aligning system will align pipes secondarily. Pipe bundle clamping system will clamp pipe bundle closely.

*Stretch wrapping system will strap and fix the pipe bundle.

*After strapping, pipe bundle will go into bagging system for bagging. The packaged pipe bundle will be conveyed out and offloaded into the basket by offloading system after being bagged.

*Basket will be settled and moved away by manual timely.

III. DETAILED DESCRIPTION

1. Counting and bundling system

*The pipe extruder is equipped with a set of pipe counting and collecting system.

*It has function of storing and counting, etc.

*It has lateral guidance that can keep pipe dropping orderly.

*It can work with different OD of pipes.

*This system consists of pipe ends aligning system, bundling former and clamping system, etc.

*It can align pipe ends.

*It can make pipes into bundle.

*It can clamp the pipe bundle closely so as to create conditions for subsequent strapping and fixing.

*Flexible materials used for pipe contact, which effectively protect product surface.

2. Stretch wrapping and strapping system

*Strapping system consists of two sets of stretch wrapping machine to strap and fix pipe bundle.

*LLDPE stretch film is used for strapping pipe bundle.

*Cast-solid aluminum ring ensures safe and stable running.

*Aluminum ring is controlled by inverter.

*PU friction wheel is anti-wear and durable.

*Film tension is adjustable.

*Mechanical hand holds, feeds and cut film automatically.

3. Automatic bagging system

*This system can put and seal the pipe bundle into a plastic bag.

*Operation of this system is simple, and bagging is fast and accurate.

*Automatic making bag, automatic bagging and automatic sealing, etc.

*Packing material is bag roll.

*Sealing mode: hot seal/auto sewing/adhesive tape after folding.

4. Offloading into basket system

*This system is end equipment that can send the packed pipe bundle into basket.

*Lifting system can lift up the packed pipe bundle for free falling at one side.

*It has offloading buffer system that can protect products effectively.

5. Control system

*PLC programming and HMI (touch screen) control system.

*Two working modes: Auto/manual.

*Inputting parameters by touch screen, such as tube OD, length, ring speed, conveyor speed, etc.

*Automatic alarm showing the fault when it occurs.
